Measure the areas then call us.

Order sod by the roll or the truckload for pick-up or delivery. Simply give us the length and width of the area to be sodded. Physically have the ares measured. Don't use blue prints. For irregular areas, break them down into small squares and rectangles for easier measuring. Then call us. We will work out the right amount of sod and a convenient delivery time.

Sod Roll dimensions: 2' x 5' (10 sq. ft).

A roll of 3-D Sod is 10 square feet covering a 2 foot by 5 foot area. There are 70 rolls per full skid or 700 square feet. Approximate weight of a skid of sod, including skid, ranges from 1,500 - 2,000 lbs. depending on how much water is in the soil at the time of harvest.

BIG ROLL dimensions (280 sq. ft.).

The typical size is 42 inches wide by 80 feet long or 280 square feet. Length can be changed depending on application. Since a typical roll can weigh upwards of 800 to 1,000 pounds, specialized equipment is required and available.
